Reeder-Canyon-Loop

Trail Description

Sponsor:

The Reeder Canyon Loop is a great ride up in the pines and quakies, covering a pretty big elevation change. You start and end at a staging area on the shores of Joe's Valley Reservoir, with plenty of access to camping and fishing.

There are plenty of views and meadows, and its very likely you'll see deer on the ride. There are a few spots that beginners might be uncomfortable on, but nothing major, as well as a few river crossings.

The staging area is about 7,000 feet, and you're at nearly 10,500 feet on Skyline Drive, so there are plenty of ups and downs, and no section of this ride is boring. This is a great half-day ride, and a great chance to get out of the heat in the summer.
