Freemont ATV Trail - Tropic Reservoir to Circleville, Utah

Trail Description

Sponsor:

The Freemont ATV Trail is over 65 miles long and includes fantastic plateaus, lots of wildlife, a wide variety of vegetation and terrain, and some incredible views.

On the north end it starts in Circleville (at 470 South 100 East), and heads south through the Dixie National Forest.

It ends up at Tropic Reservoir on the south, with direct access to a whole network of trails adjacent to Bryce Canyon National Park and the Paunsaugunt, famous for it's trophy bucks.

A must-see side trail in this area is Casto Canyon, which is about like being able to drive your ATV right down the middle of Bryce Canyon. The red rock formations are incredible! You can take Casto Canyon or Limekiln down into Panguitch (or go down one and up the other to see both and extend your trip).
